Circus visits Avalon by Otterbein at Perrysburg

A big top under a small house roof - that was the theme of the visiting Ringling Brothers Circus at the Avalon by Otterbein Perrysburg small house neighborhood on Veteran’s Day. The traveling circus consisted of performing dogs, clowns, Chinese balancing act performers, and acrobats. The Jewish Home in Fairfield CT is a NASH member. While they still have a traditional building they incorporate many of the elements of person centered care and they plan to build small houses in the near future. My parents (both 87) reside in Rockland County NY in an assisted living facility (The Esplanade at Palisades) need to relocate near Greater Hartford, CT.

Mary's Meadow Officially Open!

The Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, Massachusetts have spent three years planning a new home for their retired members who need nursing home care, and the dedicated staff has been training and preparing for a year! The result is Mary's Meadow a four house complex designed by EGA Architects of Newburyport Mass. Each individual home attaches to a central chapel so that the sisters are able to attend daily mass.
